We had a bride in the other day that asked us to show her our “Spring” dress line. In the bridal industry, we have 2 seasons: Spring and Fall.  And right now, we are currently getting in our Spring 2013 line.  I relayed that to the bride and she said she’s getting married in the Spring and needs a Spring dress.

Here’s something to remember and take with you when you are shopping for wedding dresses—whatever you want to wear on your wedding day…wear it!  It’s all about you, the bride.  Our Spring and Fall lines are not based on what you should wear during that season; it’s something that was created by the designers. There is no such thing as a Spring dress or Fall dress that you are supposed to wear.  It’s all about what you want to wear!

Back years ago, yes, chiffon is great for Spring and Summer weddings and Lace and Satin for Fall and Winter.  But now, fabrics are used in so many different ways on so many different styles, it really all depends on the bride and how she wants to look and feel on her wedding day.

You love lace for a Summer wedding?  Wear it.  You love lots of embellishments with maybe a beaded sash?  Wear it. You want strapless for a Winter wedding with a birdcage veil?  Wear it!

Some brides love a certain fabric and want that fabric in a wedding dress.  Some brides are very open minded and want to consider not the time of year of their wedding, but their venue, their colors and what they want their “feel” of their wedding to be.

Most importantly know that in this day and age of weddings, anything goes.  As the bride you can wear anything you want! It’s all about you feeling beautiful on your wedding day.
