A few days ago we had a darling bride and her mother come in looking for a wedding dress. The bride had told us from the very beginning she wasn't really a "girly girl" -- didn't really wear dresses and had no idea what she wanted in a gown...but it needed to be special.
At the end of the appointment, she had picked out 2 dresses she liked. These dresses were completely different from each other: one was a princess ballgown and the other a very fitted drop-waist dress, both of course beautiful on her. Both special in their own way. But still, she was struggling with a decision...
Which one was the special one? She could not decide. So they ended up leaving empty handed.
Just yesterday they came back to the store. Said they had a made a decision. That the bride had decided to wear her mother's wedding dress, a dress that had been in the family for 125 years! They wanted to come back and thank us for the wonderful experience and how it helped guide her to her special dress.
The bride is the only one who knows what the special dress is...and whether you find it here at The Bridal Cottage or not, we are here to provide guidance and want YOU to be happy. We are so happy this bride found what was special to her....and with that, her wedding day will be complete.
