I can't believe it was only 4 months ago that I re-opened The Bridal Cottage! It's been such a ride.

I have a wonderful group of girls that have been with me since the beginning. With them by my side, we have been able to provide brides with a wonderful experience—with the goal of giving brides their special day when finding their perfect wedding dress.

What I have come to realize is that they not only do they come to work with the goal of making customers feel special and welcome, they also give me the drive and support to continue to grow...

Today is the last day of one of my employees. Her husband is being transferred out of state and they are going to start a whole new chapter in their life. The Bridal Cottage has been blessed to have had Monique as a part of the team. Her laughter, her smile and her constant effort to please all customers has been such a joy. I am sad to see her go...she will succeed wherever she lands.

Not only will we miss her at The Bridal Cottage, but I will miss her as my friend.

Which leads me back to the quote: “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together." So true.  I have seen it happen first hand all because of my team.
